Winning largemouth Bass - 21
1/8"
- 5.75 pounder
Whisperwood Mike's 21.0" and Denny
Gladu's 20.5" largemouth bass were just short of Ned Shackett's 21
1/8" - 5.75 pound bass to take the 2014 August Bass tournament
largemouth bass division.
Whisperwood's 13th Guest Bass tournament had
picture perfect weather all week with clear blue skies, warm days with
gentle breezes and cool nights. The Whisperwood anglers responded with
many bass 17, 18 and 19 inches and a couple over 20 inches.
Congratulations to Russ Volkers and Adam Shackett
for their 18.0" smallmouth bass to
win the Smallmouth Bass division. Our anglers ages ranged from 2 years old to
65 years old, male and female
with many competitors looking to be the next Whisperwood bass champion.
